Ingredients
3 oz Plain Flour
3 oz SR Flour
Pinch Salt
Cayenne Pepper
1/2 level teaspoon Mustard
1 Egg
3 tablespoons Milk (approx)
2 oz Butter
Method
Sift flours, salt, mustard, pinch of cayenne. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Beat the egg with the milk and add to the dry ingredients making into a rather firm dough.
Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead until smooth on the outside. Roll to a 1/8 inch thickness.
Use to line a flat 8-9 inch pizza plate pressing the dough neatly into form and trim the edges.
Dot with a little butter and set aside while preparing filling
