Mietta's Review
Templestowe's attractions include Westerfolds Park, the Yarra River and since 1998 Carluccis. Hailed by some as the Brunetti's of the suburbs, the counter bulges with an A-Z of sweet temptations, from apple cakes to zabalogne slices. Walkers come for post-exercise caffeine and cake fixes while the more sedate linger over late breakfasts and long lunches. Weekend dinners can be a crowded affair with patrons spilling out into the paved outside eating area. Children receive a warm welcome. The menu has a Mediterranean feel with quartets of dips served with home made bread, a large selection of pastas and seafood plus the plenitude of Italian and Greek pastries all made on the premises.
