A regular describes Nataraj as cosmpolitan. Certainly that's the aim of the menu at this long-established Camberwell restaurant which feeds lots of the Rivoli cinema goers. When it started in 1977 the menu was mainly vegetarian. There are still noodles, curries, salads and casseroles which are vegetarian but the emphasis has certainly changed over the years. The Asian influence remains though there are also several steaks on offer as well as Greek and a lot of Italian dishes, just to confuse you. The restaurant is divided into several areas with bamboo partitions and large plants to break the vision. There is also an outdoor area. All in all it seems to suit its conservative suburban clientele .
