Mietta's Review
A friendly, family restaurant catering mainly to local residents. It offers a wide range of Malaysian dishes including those cooked in the style of southern Johore state, and a range of Cantonese and vegetarian dishes. Thumbs up for the fish curry with its well-blended spices and strips of preserved, salted cabbage giving it that extra bite. Crisp bean shoots tossed in shrimp and chilli paste should clear the sinuses for the night and home-made 'tau foo fah' (soft beancurd pudding with sugar syrup would bring back memories of home.

The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'Whoever said that looks can be deceiving may well have been talking about this place;it may not be the most attractive spot in town but the contentment on diners' faces will give you some indication of how good the food is.Try the har mee,Hainanese chicken or sambal ikan bilis. It's lucky their takeaway business is good;you wouldn't even think of turning up for dinner here without a reservation.'
