Mietta's Review
Hanuman is a long time stalwart of the Darwin restaurant scene. These days it has a very settled businesslike feeling. Dark warm colours and low light give a sense of rich mystery at night. The tables are bare but a large good quality napking is provided. The Asian (mostly Thai) inspired food is, as always, very good and well priced (entrees $13, mains 25). Best of all the service now is up to standard. Excellent wine list, with many wines by the glass. A deservedly popular restaurant which now has a daughter in Alice Springs

The menu ranges from Thailand to India with a stop-off in Malaysia for Nonya-influenced dishes ... The wine list is better than many in town, and service is appropriate and helpful.'
